Film Artist

I am a working class filmmaker and photographer. I use the term community film artist to encapsulate my ethos of making art for and often with the communities it affects. All my work is politically charged sometimes subtly but usually overtly.
Ethical filmmaking and photography is my bread and butter. I use film stock to photograph actions so that I ensure permanent anonymity for activists through scratching out faces before scanning negatives. I work in non-hierarchical structures when making films. I also make sure documentary participants are fully informed and able to withdraw consent at every stage of production to distribution.
Community Work
